Introduction
There have been studies conducted on the human brain that show that when someone associates a number or sequence of numbers with events, they have better recall with them than without them.
It is in consideration of these studies that a helpful tool for pastors, Bible teachers, small group or Bible study leaders is a guide of numbers that connect with events in Old Testament times, concentrating on Genesis and the life of David. I have included a chart of numbers that connect with these events, along with corresponding references in the Bible where this information is revealed. Included are 35 sets of numbers.
A word of caution: It’s important to remember, however, that numbers are not holy nor hold any magic or mystical qualities of any kind.
