Before Jesus’ birth, the Roman Empire ruled the world. Their emperors were called Caesar. Who these men were and what they are famous (or infamous) for is important to understanding many of the Bible’s passages.

While a plethora of information is available online, much of my information comes from my New Testament and Church history notes from college. This information is used by permission.

In this download you will receive historic background on 11 Caesars who ruled from 27 B.C to 97 A.D., one page for each one. You will receive each page with blanks that can be used in the classroom, Sunday school, or Bible study.
