The Book of Judges

Joshua’s leadership is followed by the period of the book of Judges, before Israel is led by kings.

Israel was now in the Promised Land, but so were the Canaanites. God instructed his people that this land would be theirs and if they trust him, they will take over the land.

At this time the Israelites forgot the great things God had done for them in the wilderness and even their deliverance from slavery in Egypt, so taking this promised land was full of conflict.

The judges ruled Israel; some leaders better than others and life among God’s people took on a cyclical pattern.

In the Bible Survey, you will receive teaching notes, filled in charts and blank ones to follow. These can be used for a Bible study, Sunday school classroom or even Bible classes.
