146) “I believe in God.” Many say this but it simply means they agree there is a God out there; Satan does that. Belief without commitment is worthless. If Jesus gave His life so I can be forgiven, I need to ask for that forgiveness and demonstrate I believe this by following God’s laws. Faith and deeds together. James 2:19
