2026) Wouldn’t it be nice if important things were easy?  

When you need to visit someone in their last hours on this earth.  When it seems that your life goal cannot be accomplished? When you need to confront someone about how they have treated you.

Those of you who are wise are shaking your head. The very essence of something being easy lowers its value. The gifts we give are valuable when the cost is great.  

That’s why when Jesus said, the gate (leading to life) is narrow and the way is hard. Matthew 7:14.  

It isn’t easy to follow Christ, but this very thing makes our actions and thoughts valuable because it costs.  

Easy isn’t always best
