2023) Music has always been important to me. I love to sing and have even had the opportunity and privilege of having weekly voice lessons for a year from a teacher who trains classical voices around the world.  

Music expresses thoughts and emotions on an entirely different level. It can go straight to the heart and mind when other things can only scratch the surface.  

Because of this, using our voices to praise God and witness of his faithfulness to others is valuable. The Bible is full of verses that encourage us to communicate with God on this special level, Ephesians 5:19, Psalm 1-5:2, James 5:13 and 2 Chronicles 5:13, to name a few.  

You don’t have to have a wonderful voice to sing to God. Do it while you’re driving, walking, or even in the shower. I know the Lord will love it.
