1932) This life is full of wonders. We experience love, happiness, hope, passion, anger, awe, pain and more. What is easy to remember in our emotional realm is that pain is present because we love and hope. If we didn’t care, we wouldn’t consider events, betrayals, mistakes and poor choices painful.  

1 John 4:8 reminds us God is love. He is made up of it. He’s the inventor of it. He demonstrates it continually. Because of his deep love for us, when we make poor choices, suffer and more, it grieves his heart, too.  

There is good news. Revelation 21:4 reminds us there will be a day when all the wrong and brokenness will be gone, but the love will not. Love without pain. What a gift that will be!
