1920) Have you ever taken a moment and thought about the gift of the senses God has given us? What would meals be like if we couldn’t taste them? What would we be missing if we cannot feel the sweet baby in our arms?  

Proverbs 20:12 tells us God has given us hearing ears and seeing eyes. Sounds pretty fundamental, but let’s think a moment. The purpose of our ears is to listen and our eyes to see.  

Do you make the choice to listen to others? Listen to music? Listen to the sounds of nature? Do you see more than just the surface of others, situations, and scenery?  

Mere hearing and seeing is not enough. Today is given to us to truly listen and see.
