1877) There are all sorts of “challenges” on social media that really boil down to dares. I dare you to inhale cayenne pepper. I dare you to allow someone to duct tape you to….you get the idea.
The only reason I pay any attention to these things is because it gives me information to watch for with my young scholars. Kids are easily persuaded and I want to help them be safe.
There is a good challenge, however, I wish to pass on to you today and it’s found in 1 Thessalonians 5:11. Here we’re told to encourage one another. Take the time to say one thing encouraging to someone who passes our way each day.
It may be someone at work or at the grocery store. Doing this at least one time per day can make life a little better for someone and often makes your day better too.
How about taking up the encouragement challenge?
