Good vs. Trouble

1786) As I read different Bible passages, I have a running dialogue with God. This perhaps sounds better than it is. I simply say, among other things, Hum or Really?

When I read Nahum 1:7, The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, I simply say, Good and Trouble?

How can God be both good but allow trouble? I had a situation recently where I was extremely angry and distraught. In the days afterward, I worked through the event inside, coming out a better person. I could even say I was glad it happened.

Yes, God always works for our good, and sometimes it’s within trouble. Look for the good and if you can’t find it, thank God, by faith, that it is good, even if you can’t see it.
