Being Different

1770) Whether or not we acknowledge it, we all want to fit in. The only thing that is different is the degree to which we do.

Wanting to fit in isn’t necessarily a bad thing; it really depends on what specific fitting in we wish to pursue.

In Numbers 14:24, God tells Caleb he will have the blessing of entering the Promised Land because he had a different spirit than most of the other Israelites.

Most of them murmured and complained and did not believe God would bring them into this land he had for them.

It’s always good to spend some time reflecting on which we’re more concerned with; fitting in with others or God.
