1766) Are you dependable? Always? Sometimes? When you say you’ll be somewhere at a specific time, are you? Always? Sometimes? When you are given a task to do, do you do it? Always? Sometimes? Do you keep your word? Always? Sometimes?

Consider the people you know. Do they keep their word? Always? Sometimes? Of course, the answer to many of these questions is, sometimes. Sometimes means you cannot be counted on. You are not always a person of your word. What if God was this way?

Isaiah 26:4 tells us that I Am is God’s name. (The word for Lord used here is Yahweh, which means, I am.) God is the I Am because he always keeps his word. He always listens. He’s always faithful. He is always loving and so much more.

Always isn’t consistently within our reach but sometimes is an easier one. Easy can be a bad choice.
