1760) If I were to ask you to tell me what God is like, what would you say? Would you say he’s loving, just or strict? It seems our view of who God is is often meshed with our experiences with those who say they are God’s children.

 If you want to get a better understanding of what God is like, John 3:17 tells us. This verse follows one most Christians can quote, For God so loved the world… Verse 17 tells us God didn’t send his son into the world to be a condemner; he was sent to be a savior.

Condemning someone, yelling at them, judging them is not what brings others to God. Romans 2:4 tells us it is the love of God that brings others to repentance.

As God’s children, we have been given the gift of God’s love. How can we not share it with others?
