1757) How do you feel about yourself? When the lights are off and you’re lying in bed thinking before you drift off to sleep, how do you see yourself?

For me, I usually only see the things and hear the words I have done or said wrong on most days. If my thoughts take me in a certain direction, I might compare myself to many in the Bible who did mighty things for God.

Then I think, surely God is more pleased with them than me. But the Bible says this is not true. Acts 10:34-35 tells us God has no partiality; he sees me and Joseph, Daniel, Mary and David in the same light. All of us are equally important to God.

If you ever feel you are not valuable and important, the word of God says you are. It takes faith to believe this.
