Girts without Bows

1749) I received a gift recently that in prior years, I would not have recognized as one. A dear friend asked me to help them which I know “cost” this person a lot because of the vulnerability it took to ask for my help. I gladly did so and later, when I sat quietly, I realized I received a precious gift without a bow.

As warmth filled my spirit, I continued to ponder this situation and realized God, too, must experience this when we come to him in our vulnerability and ask him to help.

Could God be blessed by our need to come to him? An interesting thought. Matthew 11:28-30
