The Frustration of Prayer

1739) I know how this may sound, but there are times I find prayer very frustrating. In these times, it is like I am in an interrogation room with a window in which God can see me from the other room, but I cannot see him.

It frustrates me because I long to see him, read his expressions and hear, audibly, his comments. He can see me, but I cannot see him. This is where faith plays an important role.

Matthew 6:6 and many other places in the Bible tell us God hears our prayers. Isaiah 65:24 is another good example. No, we may not see him right now but there will come a time when we will see him face to face.

Revelation 22:4–They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
