I knew someone who had a 20-year-old tent that was wearing out at some seams. This person took it to this store and demanded a replacement. The store reluctantly did, but it wasn’t long after this, their entire company changed their return policy. This told me that more than just this person was doing similar things.
As Christians, James 5:4 directs us to give a proper wage to someone who is working in our fields, and if we don’t, the Lord sees this.
It’s becoming harder to find people who are civil and polite with retail stores (or anywhere). It is important that we don’t rip people off because these types of actions communicate nothing good.
