1626) As a published author, my success (or not) often depends on the reviews people leave of my books. Not only do these reviews hold weight with readers, it often moves my books up in the algorithm of the site which sells them.

Because I understand the value of reviews, I try to be as precise as possible and when I read John 10:10 and explore the original Greek words used here; I see John wrote with precision. The verse says (in part) I have come that you may have abundant life. This word abundant means exceeding expectations.

If I were to see “exceeding expectations” in a review, it gets my attention. Jesus offers us everything that exceeds our expectations. Embracing this takes faith.
