1619) In a school, one of the stressful times of the year is when we give our young scholars state tests. It is a time of pressure for not only the students but all the staff as well. Because of this, it is tempting to avoid the pressure and give little effort rather than fight through it for the end results.

1 John 4:1 tells us about another test time. John tells us we must constantly test every spirit to see if they are from God or not. These spirits can mean those in the spiritual world, but I also think it involves the spirit within people.

It is no longer prudent to give the benefit of the doubt to those we encounter. Instead, it would be wiser to test what they say and represent by what God tells us in his word.

This test time is vital.
