1615) Growing up, I’d think about how wonderful being an adult will be. I get to make the decisions. I get to go anywhere I want, at anytime I want. You get the idea. But, as all of you adults know, when I finally got there, I realized being an adult had many responsibilities I did not have as a child. My dreams of one day were overrated.

There will be one day that is not overrated, and it’s good to be reminded of it. Revelation 21:4 says one day God will destroy anything that is bad that causes us to cry. He will also get rid of death and the resulting mourning and there will be no such thing as pain –physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Hanging onto one day and squeezing hope from it is what faith is. God will set everything right one day.
