1588) There are days when I sit in front of my computer, preparing to write another “minute” devotion and I find I have nothing. The difficulties of life strike and when they do, I feel I have nothing to give. It is in times like these when I need to read Revelation 21:4. Let’s remind ourselves of this verse.

There will be a day when there will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain. No, this doesn’t always help in the now, but if we take the time to let these truths seep in, it gives us hope. A hope that allows us to keep putting one step in front of the other.

These steps don’t change the here and now, but they change how we look at it.
