1580) One of the things that concerns me about how our country is functioning now (or not functioning) is how divided we are. I see divisions in families, politics, race, workplaces, and religions. This is a burden on my heart because I know that when there is division, the unit is much weaker and vulnerable.

David also understood this vulnerability. He states in Psalm 133:1 that it is good and pleasant when God’s people live together in unity. If we, as God’s people, can make the choice to be unified, it can make a significant difference in our country.

It may seem that this group of God’s children is small, but even if a few of us shift our attitudes and cooperate with one another, the change it makes can be huge.
