1518) Have you ever given thought to something that comes naturally to our bodies: tears? Why do our bodies react to extreme emotion, either positive or negative? I picture a pressure cooker letting off steam. Our tears are the body’s way of letting off the pressure of an emotional swing. This is a good thing.

God discusses tears in Isaiah 25:8. Here he reveals that one day, he is going to wipe all tears from our faces. In this instance, I believe he is referring to tears of pain. Why will God do this? Because there will be no pressures that overwhelm us in the next life with him. I can’t even imagine this.

God has given us many things to help us in this life, but in the next, if you are with him, you won’t even need them. Sounds good to me!
