1467) In my many decades of teaching, there has been one major thing that has scared me more than any verbal threats or upset parents and that is when there’s a fight among my students. The anger I have seen and the violence it stirred have seared into my memory, and I wish I could erase them.
There are times, however, when a fight is necessary. Some self-defense and wars, for example, can be vital, but sometimes a fight raises its head and comes right for you. You know right away you’re not equipped to fight or win, but that’s okay. God tells us in Exodus 14:14 he is right there, fighting for us when necessary.
Because God is a spirit, we rarely see this fighting on our behalf, but whether or not we see it, you can count on God’s fighting for you.
Doesn’t it feel good to know God fights for you regularly?
