1461) We throw around the words, “Have a good day” frequently and we all would like to have it, but have you ever stopped to ponder what does make a good day? Or perhaps we need to phrase this as what is something that, if it’s in place, we have a better chance of having a good day?
I Peter 3:10 answers this. Peter said if we control what we say to ourselves and others, using our words for good and not evil, it will make our lives so much better.
When we use our words as weapons against others and we are not honest in what we say, our lives get tangled up in the quagmire of conflict, which ultimately brings calamity and not peace.
Before you say something you may regret, pause and think about whether your words will bring healing and help or devastation and destruction. It will improve your life by choosing to do so.
