Who Would You Hire?

1410) In John 10:1-21, Jesus spoke of the business of raising sheep and says, specifically, that he is the Good Shepherd and describes how he cares for his sheep. Jesus also describes those who are not the Good Shepherd. These people consider it their job to steal sheep and probably sell or destroy them.

Jesus said his sheep know the Good Shepherd’s voice and that he will take the best care of them while the thieving shepherds don’t.

It’s interesting to me that we might choose to follow anyone other than the Good Shepherd, including ourselves, when we are warned there will be no good outcome from it.

Who would you hire to be the shepherd of your life?
