Do Be: Considerate

1328) We live in an instant world. If we need to “speak” to someone, a few taps on a little screen can make this happen. If we want something, we can order it and a box will greet us within days. Do we need to make an appointment? We can often pull up a calendar and find a date and time that will work for us without having to wait on hold as previous years would require. Because we have adjusted to this timetable, the skill of being thoughtful has waned. Why? Because it takes more than a few seconds to practice.

Being thoughtful and considerate is what Paul tells God’s children they need to be. Titus 3:1-2. If we take the time to think about the struggles of those around us. If we look for opportunities to be kind. If we know something interests someone else and we bring it to their attention, these things comprise being thoughtful and considerate.

If we take a moment and reflect on the kindness and consideration others have shown us, we’ll be reminded of the power it has to improve everyone’s lives.

Do be thoughtful and considerate.
