1290) In 1972, Dorothy Nolte wrote a poem many of you may remember. It was entitled, Children Learn What They Live. In this poem, Dorothy wrote if children live with criticism, they will learn to condemn. If children live with hostility, they learn to fight. If children live in fear, they learn to be apprehensive. This is only the beginning of the poem and the message is clear. Whatever was hunted or pursued in our childhood, either by choice or by default, wrote upon the slates of who we are.

This is why Paul tells us to hunt or pursue love. The more we saturate ourselves in love, the more it is reflected in our actions, words, and thoughts. If those around us live a life of feeling and receiving love, what would our world be like?
