1281) Have you ever considered that it’s really hard to identify the “good guys” these days? Just watch the news and you’ll see an array of people doing various things that make them “good” in the eyes of the media and yet, some of these “good” things may not actually be good.

If you are watching these different claims of virtue, and many may very well be “good”, it is tempting, at least to me, to sit back and think, God, why aren’t you doing anything about these mixed-up values? The so-called good are producing a lot of bad.

My feelings about the spiritual status of the world, is challenging and heavy, but if I look in 2 Timothy 2:9, I can see that even though Paul was in chains, God’s word is not. There is nothing that can happen in this world that will wipe-out God’s word. He is in control and we can be comforted.

Good or bad. Right or wrong. God’s word will never be eliminated from this world.
