God’s Justice: Fruit

1260) Social media has left a huge electronic footprint upon life as we know it. I have seen many prints of ugliness produced by it, but there have also been many beautiful ones.

One of these positive results is that social media has allowed me to connect with people who have come and gone within my life. As a teacher, many times this has been with former students.

One student contacted me and revealed that her newborn child will bear my last name because of the mark I have made on both her and her husband’s lives. Another precious young lady told me of the day I saved her life. She had determined she would end her suffering that day, but because I asked her for some help and later said, “I’ll see you in class,” my student told me it was enough to keep her in this life. I never had a clue this interaction was so vital.

I do not share these things because I need to be recognized, but because we may never know what kinds of seeds we plant within others, but they are real and growing.

Be encouraged. Because of God’s justice, our fruits will be rewarded. 2 Thessalonians 1:10
