1217) We often tell children to be kind to one another. Have you ever stopped to evaluate if we are putting on the garment of kindness? In some ways, being kind is easy. An empathetic look or nod of the head or a gently spoken word communicates kindness.

Other garments of kindness are not so easy. When we return a smile to someone who has been talking poorly of you. When we help someone whose poor choices got them in a bind. When we put our plans on the back burner when someone else has a need. All of these are woven in the fabric of kindness.

Paul tells us in Colossians 3:12-14. to cloth ourselves in kindness. Investing in a wardrobe of kindness is a good way to spend our time and the world would be a better place.
