1200) There are different sources of power in life. The obvious one is a leader of a nation. This person has the power to make decisions, small and large, that will affect many. This is a power I’m not sure I would want.
There is the power a boss has. This person must make multiple decisions that affect not only those employees but also those the business is there to provide.
There is the power and responsibility parents have. The parents work to provide for the family and manage the children, finances and household.
There is power within religious organizations. These leaders must make plans and decisions that affect many spiritually.
There is also the power a bully has. Any bully’s aim is to isolate the victim so they can control the other person.
All these positions have power, but Jesus said there is a greater power, and that is, being a servant.
This means you no longer call the shots in your life; you look at God’s directions in all aspects. In this way, a good leader is a servant.
The most powerful is not the one with the biggest weapons, strongest muscles or loudest mouth. Jesus said the greatest is the servant. Matthew 20:26-28
