When I taught high school, I had some students that asked me to come watch them ride them, but I told them I couldn’t. I knew I couldn’t watch kids I loved in extremely dangerous places. They seemed to understand.

I have seen other animals display this sort of rage; they had a serious disease. The word rage in Ephesians 4:31 is also translated as rabies. What do we know about rabies? It’s an infectious disease, meaning we or animals can pass it to others. It can be deadly and, importantly, it is 100% preventable.

If we are told that rage is spiritual garbage, we can conclude that it can be passed to and received by others. We need to realize that in passing this on, we can also be guilty of murder because rage is preventable. Knowing this, the Great Physician is always on call if you need him to heal you from this disease, so call him!
