1054) Take a moment and think back over your life. Did you have ideas about how you pictured your life as being? How does that picture coincide with what actually happened (so far)? What would your life be like had it turned out the way you thought it should? I can’t speak for you but I know I never would have imagined the good things I have been given.
What things? I knew I’d go to college to become a teacher, but I never would have thought I would earn a Master’s degree with a 4.0. I have always loved to sing but I never would have imagined I would sing with a professional classical voice instructor and even have one-on-one lessons for a year. I knew I had an ability to write, but I never would have believed I would write three books (so far), one of which would be a traditionally published novel. I could list many more things.
Just as the Old Testament states in several places that monuments were set up to remind people of the works God did for the Israelites, we need to take the time to remember all the times God was/is at work in our lives.
Ephesians 3:20 tells us God will do exceedingly more than we can ask or think. Take the time to see these things in your own life. It’s amazing.
