Five Things that WILL Bring You a Better Life

1034) There are many “hacks” out there to make your life less complicated. You can read of many hacks to make kitchen cleanup easier.

There are several for cleaning outdoor furniture. I’ve also seen a large number of hacks you can use to make your social media channels more profitable.

These things can be appealing and 2 Corinthians 13:11 gives us 5 “hacks” we can use to improve our lives.

First, rejoice more. The Greek word for rejoice used here is chairó, meaning be glad, but it’s almost always tied with grace, God’s giving us good things we don’t deserve.

This means that to have a better life, we need to take the time to be glad because God has given us grace.

Second, our lives would be better if we strive for restoration in a relationship that has been broken. The word for strive here in the Greek means to “adjust to” each other.

This means that our lives would be better if we were more willing to adjust to others personality-wise, world-view wise and more.

Third, if we spend our time encouraging others, our lives would be better. When we “go to bat” for others, it communicates that we care about and value them.

Fourth, we are to be unified with others. This means that we work together for worthwhile goals instead of working against each other and trying to produce the same outcome.

Sometimes we get so distracted by the “best way” to do something that the end result doesn’t happen.

Finally, our lives would be better if we sought to live in peace. I’m sure you all know people who seem to thrive in drama.

This may seem to spice up life a bit, but the price tag is huge. It wears and tears against our spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional health.

These spiritual “hacks” are really not hacks; they are choices and sometimes, choices are not easy but the end results are worth it.
