983) Is there ever a place that a person can be (physically, emotionally and spiritually) that is too far for God’s grace to reach?
During the Roman Empire, many of the emperors’ actions were appalling. Caligula had a sexual relationship with his sisters. Nero was decadent and self-indulgent. Commodus was a complete narcissist. Caracalla massacred many of the people he ruled over. And Elagabalus committed a myriad of sexual perversion. It was under these leaders that the people of Rome most likely modeled their behavior.
I think it’s interesting, however, that in Romans 1:7, Paul makes a point of saying that Romans were loved by God. Despite all the horrible things that took place during this time, none of them would be too far for God’s grace to reach if they asked for it.
No matter what you have done, God’s grace is available to you, too.
