Chaplain Miller closed his Bible. “God promises, ‘I will never leave you, nor forsake you. I will strengthen you and help you. I will take away every tear from your eyes.’ I could list the promises of God all afternoon. But I’ll just say this today … God loves us and because of this, he cares about what we care about. He sees our sorrows. Let us pray.”
