812) The event of Jesus and Peter walking on the water in Matthew 14:22-32 has always interested me. Peter sees Jesus doing something he knew went against the law of nature and yet, Jesus invites Peter to join Him in this supernatural experience. The next thing that happens is very important: Peter gets out of the boat. It is only at this point that Peter experienced a blessing from God.

When challenged to do difficult things that God allows to come to us, we must remember that sometimes, in order for these things to happen, we have to get out of the boat.
