772) Sometimes when I read the Bible, I get confused. On the one hand, God says in Psalm 34:15 that His eyes are on the righteous. What confuses me is that I know God watches over everyone, even those who are not His. Is this a contradiction? No, I don’t think so. As a classroom teacher, my eyes are on every one of my kids. I’m watching to make sure they are ok, learning and progressing. But if I had within the same class one of my own children, my eyes would still be on everyone, but my heart would be more invested in him/her. I would have a relationship with them I do not have with the others. We would share things within the day and reflect at night on how the day went.

Yes, God sees everyone, but when He is your Father, the connection by blood lasts forever.
