If God is, indeed, good then He would have to be good when things are going well with us. AND God also has to be good when the bad comes our way, too. It’s a struggle sometimes to accept that out of God’s goodness, a horrible situation has come our way. God did not create the “bad” but He allowed it. Believing this is not a feeling; it’s call faith. Faith that God will somehow use the difficulties of life and work it for good in our lives. God is always good. 1 Chronicles 16:34
