You First

2052) If you’ve spent any time with tweens, you know they are often occupied with being “first” in the world.

They want to be the first one in line at school. They want whatever they think is trending and they want it now.

They want to be the first one heard. You get the idea. We have to hope they will outgrow this behavior, but that’s not always the case.

Act 20:28, however, tells us we do need to do something first. It tells God’s children they need to pay attention to their own actions first, before criticizing those of others.

If we honestly spend time evaluating ourselves first, before anyone else, the church would be a much better example to the world.
