2044) I know this will surprise some of you but I have several quirks. Some of them I share with my young scholars just to get a reaction out of them. For example, I will not take a bath in other people’s bathtubs. I also will not eat the middle of Oreos. You get the idea.  

I have one quirk, however, which reminds me of Revelation 3:15-16. If I’m going to eat soup, the soup needs to be very hot. If I want a drink, I want it to be very cold.  

John says in Revelation 3 that it’s important to be 100% for God, instead of neither hot nor cold.  

Wavering back and forth in our commitment to God does not produce good things.
