1956) As a child, my siblings, friends and I used to play hide and seek. Some of us were better at hiding than others. As you know, one is the “seeker” and the others would try to choose somewhere to hide.
It’s interesting to me that many of us can play this game with God. We can attempt to hide our actions and guilt where we know, deep-down, God knows where we are and what we do.
Luke 19:10 reminds us God can find us, but not because he wants to “catch” us doing wrong, but to give us a deeper relationship with him.
God doesn’t play games with us; he truly wants a relationship.
