1912) If you’ve ever gone to the vitamin and supplement aisle in a store, it can be overwhelming. There are so many bottles with labels to read and I’ve wondered how many of these things are truly helpful. I’m also astonished at how expensive many are.  

I can think of one supplement which is helpful, and it’s mentioned in 2 Peter 1:5. Here, Peter admonishes us to supplement our faith with virtue. The Greek word for virtue can be translated as moral excellence.  

Peter goes on to say to supplement our virtue with knowledge or wisdom.  

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to find two new bottles on the shelves of our stores? One would be a bottle of moral excellence and the other, wisdom. These bottles would be worth every penny.
