1911) I’ve read in multiple places that we make time to do the things we want to do. It may not be as much time as we’d like, but still, if we want to do something, there is time.
One thing many don’t need to make time for and that’s mentioned in Isaiah 2:4. Here, the subject is disputes. We don’t have to make time for them. They often just pop out from a well that can be saturated with infected waters.
The good news is, the prophet tells us in this verse that disputes involving God’s people will end. In fact, he goes on to describe what we will be doing instead. We are going to take the sharp weapon in our mouths and hearts, the sword and spear, and we’ll use our words for useful purposes.
This day of peace and calm isn’t here yet, but it doesn’t mean we can’t practice for it.
