Remembering

1910) Remembering at my age is a mental maze. I find myself entering a specific path, but as I walk, I sometimes don’t remember where I was two minutes ago, not to mention where I need to be going.

Because remembering gets more difficult as we age, John 14:26 becomes even more important. It tells us the Holy Spirit will teach us things and he will bring to our remembrance all Jesus has said.

The second part of the verse catches my attention because if I don’t know what Jesus has said, how can the Holy Spirit bring it back to my memory?

This is another reason why we should saturate ourselves in the words God has given us in the Bible.
