A Lighted Pathway

1900) Since we’ve moved into winter here in Maine, it’s dark when I leave for work and in another month, it will be dark as I drive home. Because of this, it’s always good to have outdoor lights to help navigate snow and, especially, icy steps. These lights help keep me from harm. So, does it make sense to refuse to turn on the lights? No.

Psalm 119:105 tells us God’s word provides us with the same things; it is a lamp for our feet. When we’re not sure which direction we should go. When we’re navigating a difficult pathway. All of these things, God promises to light our way, if we just allow him to. Does it make sense to refuse this light?
