1887) Waiting is a difficult thing for many these days. Why? Because we are used to getting immediate results. The text, the online shopping, instant customer service, 24/7. When someone doesn’t answer immediately, we can get irritated.
There are just some things, however, that cannot be hurried. One is found in Habakkuk 2:3. Here we read that God wants us to wait for the things he has promised. This “wait” doesn’t fit into our instant formula and because of this, many throw away the blessing that comes with waiting on God.
God’s timing is perfect, even when we may not think so.
