Fortunately, my husband is one who doesn’t react this way, and he asked me a question that has stayed with me. He asked, are you really upset about what just happened or is it because of something else?
This question lingers in my mind because it helped me identify what the source of my irritation was. This source-finding isn’t only useful in negative events and actions, it’s also helpful in the positive.
Daniel 2:21tells us God gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the understanding. It seems as though God is repeating himself. Why would the wise need wisdom and the understanding, understanding?
God is the source of such gifts. Rejoice in recognizing the source-giver.
