1841) Growing up going to church, I have known people who have asked God for a special healing for themselves or someone they loved. I didn’t know many of these people well so I’m not sure what the outcome of their prayers were, but I know God can heal people when he is asked.
But, what about when you pour out your heart to God and he doesn’t heal? Does that mean he is hard and indifferent? I don’t think so, but I also know God works everything for our good.
John 11:25 gives us some insight into this dilemma. Here Jesus says he is the Resurrection and the Life. Part of what this means is that, when God is ready to bring any of his children home to be with him, he will heal them. That is something to be excited about.
It’s all in the timing.
